KEMPO FOR KIDS

For The Kids

Kempo is a great way to give kids a head start in life. At the Driscoll Institute of the Martial Arts, children will learn the the positive benefits of becoming physically fit, self discipline, confidence, and respect while increasing self esteem and creativity. Children’s classes are run in a disciplined but fun atmosphere where the child learns valuable lessons pertaining to life at home, in school and among their peers. Students learn valuable physical skills that allow them to properly defend themselves and increase confidence and self esteem to walk away from a confrontation when applicable.

Kyoshi Driscoll also takes a special interest in his students academic performance by implementing an award system for report cards with the Academic Achievement Award and the Straight “A s” Program Award.

Children learn:
Confidence and Self Esteem — To Believe in Themselves and Walk Proud
Focus and Concentration — To Excel in School and Sports
Self Defense – To Protect Themselves and Say NO to Bullies
Inner Strength — To Say NO to Peer Pressure

THE DRISCOLL INSTITUTE OF THE MARTIAL ARTS

The Martial Arts were developed hundreds of years ago as a means to defend oneself in a combat situation. But, what the average person doesn’t realize is that the Martial Arts are also a wonderful tool to unlock the human potential. Here at the Driscoll Institute of the Martial Arts, we’ve been teaching quality martial arts since 1986.

Our dojo teaches students of all ages. Children are accepted as early as 5 years of age, and adults at any age (No such thing as too old). We work with an adult student to enhance what they can do…not focusing on what they can’t physically perform. Classes are taught in a relaxed but challenging atmosphere gearing the student towards constant, steady improvement in their lives as well as in their martial arts skills. Kyoshi Driscoll takes a personal interest in the development of each individual student.
